After observing Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup rest, Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has finally resumed training with the English Championship side Stoke City.
Etebo moved to Britannia Stadium few days to the start of the World Cup following the expiration of his contract with Portuguese side CD Feirense.
The former Warri Wolves forward spent second stanza of last season with Spanish La Liga side UD Las Palmas, he appeared at the ‘Potters’ training for the very first time on Monday.
The hardworking midfielder who has a decent outing in Russia is expected to play key role in Stoke city campaign in the English football second tier as the club eyes immediate promotion back to the elite division this season.
Etebo will join two other Nigeria players, Osaze Odemwingie and Victor Moses who has played for Stoke City in the past.
